Government Update 28 May

Good morning,  I just wanted to update you after the Government's announcement that schools are to re-open on a phased return.

Safety of the 'school family' is the top priority for myself, my Senior Leaders and Governors, so with this in mind we will be cautiously, carefully and slowly opening school initially on a part time basis to a small group of pupils from Year 6 and Reception.  The first wave will begin on Monday 8th June, parents will be contacted if your child is part of this first wave.  The second wave will take place on Monday 15th June.

The situation will be carefully monitored and we will not move onto a different wave if it is not safe to do so.  

If you have informed school that you do not wish your child (from Year 6, Reception or Year 1) to be in school at the moment, you will not be fined for this and my staff will continue to provide work.

We all need to follow the Government Guidelines to ensure that there is not a second peak.
