Taste of Daily Life in Class 2

We have 26 amazing Year Two children who are greeted by members of staff every morning. Each pupil will have an activity ready to start their day. This will consist of spelling/grammar, reading or maths.

We have four lessons during each day; English, Maths and foundation subjects. Daily phonics sessions take place using the Read Write Inc scheme, which focuses on the key phases of reading and spelling.

Developing a love of reading continues to be of great importance. We will be encouraging your child to read for pleasure as much as possible at home, alongside our whole class reader and a variety of interesting texts to supplement English lessons.

Each child will be supported to flourish into confident and unique individuals. Achievements and birthdays are celebrated in the class.
