V E Veteran - Eric Radcliffe

We were due to be visited in school on VE Day by a 95 year old VE Veteran; Eric Radcliffe.

Eric was a Lance Corporal in the Grenadier Guards, he served in the 4th Battalion and the 6th Guards Tank Brigade.

Eric was going to talk to pupils and staff about his career.

Unfortunately, due to the Lockdown Erc was unable to visit us.  But along with Mrs Scott, the pupils that were in school during the Lockdown, made bunting and posters to go on Eric's gate.  So when Eric opened his curtains on VE Day St Paul's Peel CE Primary School was with him in spirit.
